Quincy Jones: Building for Better Living” May 25 – September 8, 2013.  This is the first major museum retrospective of the Los Angeles-based architect’s innovative, collaborative work from 1937 until his death in 1979, and it showcases his contributions to late mid-century modern architecture and planning.  The thematically organized exhibition presents original architectural drawings, a rare Case Study house model, and vintage photographs of residential homes, churches, libraries, university buildings, schools, and commercial buildings from Jones’ personal and professional archives.  To find out more and plan your visit, go to hammer.ucla.edu, and then contact AG Media at 877-321-8421 to find out how you can use CLPBs to effectively reach the SoCal community.
